Student Services Hub Our friendly and welcoming Student Services Hub Team are your first point of call for enquiries relating to a number of University Services. We can help you with enquiries on: Academic Registry Careers and Employability Income Office Student Learning Services Student Support Services Just Ask – The Student Services Hub is the gateway to many of the University of Stirling’s key services, bringing them together in one easily accessible place. Once you chose to become a student of the University of Stirling, our friendly and welcoming Student Services Hub team are your first point of call for enquiries relating to a number of University Services. Academic Registry covers many of the more administrative service areas including: Registering for modules, enrolment, setting of tuition fees, arrangements for examinations and examination timetables and they are the lovely people who will create your degree certificate at the end of your University career! Careers and Employability provide high quality careers information, education and guidance. They endeavour to empower students to make informed career decisions and develop life long career management skills. Students can make tuition fee payments or any other payment to the University via the Income Office. Student Learning Services are committed to providing comprehensive guidance on all aspects of effective and efficient learning. The ultimate aim of the service is to enable students to make the most of their academic studies at university and for students to become independent, successful learners during their time at the University of Stirling. I will go into more detail about Student Support Services in a few moments. If you have an enquiry, and you’re not sure where to go, just Ask!

Advisors in the Team are specialists in a number areas of support, including areas such as counselling and mental health, money and financial issues, accessibility and assistive technology. If you are currently receiving support for a disability or specific learning difficulty at school or College then we strongly encourage you to come and find out more about what kind of support we can continue to provide to you during your time at University. If you have already marked on your UCAS form that you have a disability or specific learning difficulty then we will contact you when you accept your offer to find out more about your situation and how we can help. I hope you all know that there are a number of different types of financial support students are entitled to, depending on your circumstances. Our Money Team are responsible to helping to ensure you are making the most of these opportunities and maximising the money you have. This could range from helping you to budget to recommending different trust funds or charities that you may be eligible to apply to. We also have a Counselling and Wellbeing Team who’s job it is to help students keep in good mental health and maintain positive emotional wellbeing. Student Support Services are there to empower students to have the best experience and to leave Stirling ready to embrace their next steps! We have Advisors here today, in the Atrium who are ready to answer any enquiries you might have about support available at the University.
