Caden in 4th grade

10. Responsibility for Coursework
Bring notebook, library book, planner, and appropriate writing tools to class.
Know due dates and submit all coursework on time.
All assignments are posted daily on the agenda board and on the class Web site.
Eventually you will be creating a Writer’s Notebook that will be piloting this year.

11. Promote Lifelong Learning
You can develop lifelong learning traits:
By showing curiosity about human nature and how the world works.
By seeking and valuing diversity.

14. Grading Grades are based on the accumulation of points.
Points are based on:
Class participation (effort)
Completion of assignments
(daily work)
Major projects, exams, and
self-reflection
Grades are posted online and updated every time there is an assignment due and graded, which should be at least twice weekly.
Our Grading Scale
90-100% = A
80-89% = B
70-79% = C
60-69% = D
Below 60% = F
Grades are calculated on cumulative percentage and are rounded up whenever possible.
