Community Park and Museum Booking Terms and Conditions Final Numbers Your final numbers must be confirmed 5 working days in advance and this is the number you will be invoiced for. If your numbers come below our minimum required to run the program then you will be charged for the minimum number of participants. Start time All activities now start at 10.45am, please ensure you are on site by 10.15am Cancellations  Cancellation fees apply for programs cancelled less than 5 working days before your visit. Our cancellation policy is available on request. Changes to advertised programs will incur a $50 administrative fee. Weather We are an all weather venue. Programs will only be cancelled in accordance with our Emergency Management Policy, available on request. On extreme weather days programs will be run under cover where possible. On Fire Ban Days the Bush Tram will not run. If schools have concerns about weather on the day must speak to a member of Coal Creek staff on to establish what the weather is like on site. cancellations on the day of the visit are deemed unreasonable and will be charged at the full rate. Risk Assessments Schools are responsible for producing their own risk assessments. We highly recommend you visit the site before bringing students. Students Management Teachers are responsible for their students at all times. Students must be with a supervising adult at all times. Health and Safety briefing for visiting Educational Parties Whilst on site teachers and accompanying adults are responsible for their students at ALL times and ensure students adhere to our code of conduct, see below. Ratio required 20:1 as per DET guidelines. Schools are responsible for any first aid that students may require and MUST bring a first aid kit and have a designated first aider. Coal Creek has designation first aid officers if required.  If you require an Ambulance, notify a member of staff. All 000 calls must go through the front desk, as this is the first point of call for the emergency services. A lead teacher needs to be appointed and acknowledged on the booking form. This member of staff is responsible for explaining all health and safety matters regarding your visit to ALL supervising adults. Emergency evacuation procedure You will hear the emergency warning siren. Remain calm. Please take your students promptly to the nearest EMERGENCY SAFE ASSEMBLY area, marked as on the map below. If a member of your party is missing. Please advice a member of staff immediately. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RE-ENTER THE PARK. You must wait for the all clear from the Chief Evacuation Officer. When on site the lead teacher must provide a contactable mobile phone number for your group.
