3 Teacher Notes Purpose To help students talk and explain reasoning.
The best results can be achieved if they think individually for the start and then have to “argue the case” with eachother in groups. Activity Give students the list and ask them to prioritise Possibly by identifying 5 things to shut down Then get in groups of 4 to keep their cell alive. Click on any individual item to move to the other side Once 5 things have been identified state that conditions are worse and you need to shut down even more. Extensions Ask questions about how long your cell would survive without !!!
