Background What is the Business Model Canvas? Where did it come from? “Your business on one page.” “A global standard used by millions of people in companies of all sizes. Use the canvas to describe, design, challenge, and pivot your business activities.” The pre-cursor to all conversations with stakeholders that will want to help you with your business. Ex: funders, mentors, advisors, etc. Initially proposed by Alexander Osterwalder in 2008 based on his earlier work on Business Model Ontology.
