2. There is not much diegetic sound, but when there is it is over emphasised, such as the metal guttering bending, enhancing the fear. The non-diegetic music is creepy and builds up the tension. It then gets much faster so that the audience are expecting something to happen. When the policeman is falling the music gets much deeper, echoing the mood of the scene.

3. The filming is smooth, even during the chase Scene, which is unusual for a thriller, but it shows the age of the film. The camera looks down from the top of the building, which emphasises the distance to the ground and makes the fall seem even more tragic. There is not much movement of the camera, as the beginning of the second scene only flicks between close ups of the two characters.

4. The credits spiral out of an eye, playing with the audience's mind in a hypnotic fashion. This sets the audience up for an unrealistic storyline. The editing is slow, with straight cuts which highlights the age of the film, as the chase would have fitted well with fast editing.

5. The uniform immediately gives the impression of authority, showing who the good guy should be. It shows a face then zooms in on an eye, this suggests that there could be a deeper meaning to the film involving an inner self The screen tints red, which has the connotation of blood, death, danger and anger, giving the audience a sign of whats to come.
