There is not much diegetic sound, but when there is it is over emphasised, such as the metal guttering bending, enhancing the fear. The non-diegetic music is creepy and builds up the tension. It then gets much faster so that the audience are expecting something to happen. When the policeman is falling the music gets much deeper, echoing the mood of the scene.

The filming is smooth, even during the chase Scene, which is unusual for a thriller, but it shows the age of the film. The camera looks down from the top of the building, which emphasises the distance to the ground and makes the fall seem even more tragic. There is not much movement of the camera, as the beginning of the second scene only flicks between close ups of the two characters.

The credits spiral out of an eye, playing with the audience's mind in a hypnotic fashion. This sets the audience up for an unrealistic storyline. The editing is slow, with straight cuts which highlights the age of the film, as the chase would have fitted well with fast editing.
