CWU’s Self-Study Process
Communicate with the university community Work closely with colleagues and the Reaffirmation of Accreditation Institutional Steering Committee Develop data dashboard Compile documentation and create SharePoint evidence repository Construct self-study narrative and gather feedback from university community Create and disseminate final version of self-study

Teaching & Learning Enhance student success by continually improving curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular programs. Enhance the effectiveness of student support services.

Create and sustain a diverse and inclusive community. Ensure that CWU has a diverse and inclusive curriculum and co-curricular programming.

Core Theme Three Mission Fulfillment Scholarship & Creative Expression
Increase the emphasis on and the opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to participate in research, scholarship, and creative expression activities. Increase the external funding received for research, scholarship, and creative expression by faculty, staff, and students.

Public Service & Community Engagement Enhance the level of engagement, collaboration, and goodwill between the university and surrounding communities. CWU develops and deploys university resources to enhance the economic wellbeing and quality of life in surrounding communities.

Core Theme Five Mission Fulfillment Resource Development & Stewardship
Maximize the financial resources of the university, and ensure the efficient and effective operations of the university through strong financial stewardship. Develop and implement enrollment management strategies that maximize revenue. Ensure the university has the human resources necessary to accomplish all university objectives. Provide the facility and technology infrastructure and services appropriate to meet the university objectives, while maximizing sustainability and stewardship.
