disbelief Define: not believing.
Example: Winnie stared in disbelief at the huge shark. Ask: What is another word for disbelief?

dismay Define: discouraged.
Example: Marco looked at he rain with sadness and dismay. Ask: What is the opposite of dismay?

fabulous Define: wonderful.
Example: The fireworks were amazing and fabulous. Ask: What do you think is fabulous?

features Define: a part or quality of something.
Example: Lions have special features that help them survive. Ask: Can you name some features that helps lion survive?

offered Define: give. Example: Brian offered to help Donna get up.
Ask: How has someone offered to help you?

splendid Define: magnificent.
Example: Katie’s day at the zoo ended with a wonderful, splendid surprise. Ask: Can you name a word that means the same as splendid?

unique Define: not common or one of a kind.
Example: The anteater’s long nose makes it a unique animal. Ask: What word is the opposite of unique?

watchful Define: being alert or attentive.
Example: The ducklings learned to swim under the watchful eyes of their mother. Ask: What does it mean to be watchful?
