Our free tutoring program is certified by CRLA and uses top UNT students as tutors
Tutoring is available in a wide variety of formats:

7. Supplemental Instruction (SI)
SI target courses that have a
30% DFW rate
SI Leaders hold 3 one-hour group
study sessions per week
On average, students who regularly
participate in SI will earn one half to one whole letter grade higher than students who do not participate

10. Speed Reading and Comprehension
A 90-minute class meets once a week for
five weeks
Now featuring online and in-person classes
Groups of eight students meet and utilize
specialized software to practice the skills
we discuss
Online comprehension practice resources
and workbook

11. Learning 101 This workshop series is designed to help develop
the skills you need to be successful in college
Workshops are 50 minutes and require no registration
Topics include:
Time Management Critical Thinking Skills
Note Taking Online Class Success Strategies
Presentation Skills Test Taking
Learning Styles
