3. We Asked the Students What do great teachers do?
What happens in rubbish lessons?
What are the most important things teachers do that help you learn?
What stops you from enjoying a lesson?
How could lessons be even better at KEVICC?

4. We Refined It
From their positive responses we identified three key themes: Engagement, Challenge and Enjoyment.
We had them place them into a Venn diagram to see which thoughts would have the most impact across all three themes.
From their negative responses we used a ‘diamond nine’ to get students to rank them.

5. Asked the Teachers
We simply swapped the words student and teacher round so that they were applicable to staff

6. We Collated It (and got Ben to make it look pretty)
