Step by Step Guide to Installation

2. Step 1
Log into the BDI2Datamanager.com and log in with your credentials that have been assigned an MDS license.

3. Step 2
Hover over Download option located on the top right portion of your screen and then click on Mobile Data Solution

4. Step 3
Scroll down to the end of the page using the outside scroll bar to accept the licensing agreement.

5. Step 4
Then click the Download button

6. Step 5
After you click the Download button, the downloaded file should be at the bottom of your screen, click on it to open the file

7. Step 6
Two files will appear on the screen, double click on the top file-BDI2 Mobile Launch Setup

8. Step 7
The Windows Setup Wizard dialogue box will appear, click on Next

9. Step 8 (Very important step)
The next dialogue box that comes up will give you a radio button choice of Everyone or Just me, it automatically defaults to Everyone, but you must choose the Just me option, and then click Next

10. Step 9
The next dialogue box that will appear will be the Confirmation Installation, click Next (After this step, it may prompt you for Administrator credentials)

11. Step 10
The next dialogue box that will appear will let you know that the installation is complete and you may click on the Close button

12. Step 11
At this point, a new BDI2/MDS icon will be on your Desktop. Just double click on the icon and enter your credentials when prompted. The first time you open it, it may take a while to get to the login page, but be sure not to click on the icon again while it is processing to open.

13. Common Issues when trying to Install
After Confirmation Installation dialogue box appears, you may be prompted to enter Administrator credentials. Depending on your district, you may have to contact your IT department for this to occur
If you already have an MDS on your computer and you are trying to download again to repair any issues that are occurring, instead of choosing the first file to install, you will choose the second file to click on - setup.exe
