Say you tweeted a mean or disrespectful thing on twitter a few years ago. You go apply it get into university or collage. They will go through your profile and search you up on the internet to try to find things out about you. They hve many other people that they can chose from in university and collage. So if they find that mean tweet or something else you did you might not be taken into the university or collage.

3. Ways To Keep Your Account Safe
You should always look at what u are posting or tweeting is appropriate before you post it.
Make sure your account is privet so only people you know can see your profile. IF it isn’t privet people can screen shot a picture of you and if it is inappropriate that isn’t good news for you.
You should always check your privacy settings because they can change with out you knowing.

4. Information To Pass On To Other People
That what ever you do on the internet is tracked and saved. It knows what you looked at and what time. What ever you post and delete is on the internet forever. They can even track your cradet card/all of your cards.
