What: Tunisia and U.S. Forces conduct airborne ops and Combined Arms FTX at the Plt level
Who: Tunisia and U.S. Forces in a Bilateral Exercise
Why: Exercise to enhance the ability of the Tunisian Armed Forces to counter- Violent Extremist Organizations (VEOs), and degrade VEOs in Tunisia. Supports AFRICOM LOE 2: Sets conditions for a synchronized satellite event connected to exercise AFRICAN LION.
Concept of Exercise
Tunisian and US Military forces conduct a 10 day bilateral military exercise at the platoon level focused on small unit tactics, techniques and procedures. This exercise will enhance the ability of the Tunisian Armed Forces to counter- Violent Extremist Organizations (VEOs), and degrade VEOs in Tunisia.
