“Can we know that Jesus saves us? Can we know?” Many, even churches, say “NO.” Our church, MBC, says a “resounding YES.”
Two major strains of thought:
Calvinists: Jesus paid it all; He keeps me secure.
Armenians: Jesus paid it all; it’s on me to keep it.

“Don’t doubt because of an ignorance of God’s word and His promises. Don’t doubt because of a faulty theology (e.g., eternal life is something I can lose or forfeit). Don’t doubt because of disobedience. Don’t doubt because of hate. Flee to Jesus! He is the word of life! Feelings come and go, and feelings can be deceiving. My confidence is in the Son of God…
