Located in New York’s North Country, the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino is one of two gaming enterprises under the St Regis Mohawk Tribe. The St. Regis Mohawk, or Akwesasronon, are presently situated on over 30,000 acres of tribal land extending from New York into Quebec and Ontario.
The Tribe’s gaming enterprises are just two of over 120 tribally-registered businesses and one of the largest employers not only of the local community but of Northern New York as a whole. All revenue generated is generously donated back into the community at large.
Business problems that led to evaluating CPM, adopting Prophix:
Data consolidation / distribution – AMohawk’s financial consolidation and distribution via FRX Reporting lacked the flexibility that the organization wanted from its reporting.
Budgeting / personnel planning – AMohawk’s headcount planning would contain discrepancies between their planned numbers and their actual reported numbers. Multiple excel budgeting templates would be distributed out to the individual department managers, which would make the budgeting process time consuming and error-prone when consolidating.
