How lovely are Thy dwelling places, O LORD of hosts
How lovely are Thy dwelling places, O LORD of hosts! My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God. How blessed are those who dwell in Thy house! They are ever praising Thee. For a day in Thy courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God, than dwell in the tents of wickedness. Psa 84:1-2, 4, 10
2
Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Psa 95:6-7a
3
I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
Psa 122:1

David, the sons of Korah, and an anonymous psalmist write about the joys of being able to worship God in His house. Hopefully, we have the same attitude as we gather for worship this Lord’s Day morning.
5
We know assembling to worship is important.
Heb. 10:24-25 We know God seeks worshipers who will “worship in spirit and in truth.” Jn. 4:23-24
6
