Sellers need more hands on deck to watch delivery and performance of campaigns Digital Director not being utilized efficiently No career path or guidance for advertising assistants Ad Operations is weighed down by tasks that should fall under account management. Client Services as the Solution Improved process and coordination Consistency across sales and amongst support staff Transition some of the current Ad Operations responsibilities to the Client Services Department

3 What is Client Services?
Internal and external servicing. Department acts as connectors to ensure everyone is working towards the same goal - smooth campaigns and happy clients. Work with marketing to align grids with decks. Provide layer of support in the office in order for sales to focus on selling instead of managing campaigns. Align with Ad Operations to be translators of digital language to sellers and clients, finding resolutions for issues. Client focused, to make them happy. Happy client = repeat business.

4 Client Services - Responsibilities
Director of Client Services Oversees all proposals that go out door, ensuring accuracy Kick off calls and constant attention to VIP clients - feel the love Oversee quality control process to ensure all campaign launch on time, run smooth Approve of added value and make goods. Work with ad ops to understand industry changes and prep sellers for changes Create sponsor packages and manage sponsorship calendars with marketing Help plan and prep team for product changes and implications Provide leadership with top line view of campaign metrics and highlights Develop and maintain relationships externally Account Manager Manage campaigns/bigger projects from initiation to close Work with project stakeholders to define scope, goals, budgets timelines Provide schedule of tasks Clearly communicate expectations to team members Act as liaison between clients and sales Obtain approvals for drafts and changes Provide status reports throughout Create recaps for client programs Analytics analysis Provides reco to ensure success Reserves inventory Proofread all materials Custom campaign grids Account Coordinator New IOs, revisions, collect materials Prep Account Executives for client meetings Create go-live docs Digital grids Recaps at the end of all campaigns Client relationship management, Insightly updates etc. Assist in proposal writing under 10k Collect all materials Fact check ads Execute mailings Assist marketing with event execution

7 INFLUENCER MARKETING Philadelphia magazine has established a network of social media influencers to highlight brands through engaging content on various platforms including the influencer’s and Phillymag.com’s. These programs align brands with exclusive, targeted audiences beyond the walls of Phillymag.com. Why Influencers? They have a loyal following Opportunity to elevate your brand in the market Brands can reach an extended targeted audience Their messaging is effective and authentic Consumers are likely to try a product based off of Influencer recommendations Instagram x Bulleit Bourbon

8 “POWER YOUR DREAMS” INFLUCENER INTEGRATION
GOAL: Delaware Valley Honda Dealers wanted to stand out from its competition during the annual Philadelphia Auto Show, a key consumer sales initiative, and create buzz in the Greater Philadelphia region throughout the entire winter season. SOLUTION: Philadelphia magazine drew inspiration from Honda’s national “Dreams” campaign and partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters Philadelphia Chapter to feature talent including Rodney McLeod, Heather Mitts and Chill Moody to showcase their inspirational success stories of how they made their dreams come true and the importance of mentorship. INFLUENCER ROLE: Promote Honda’s area at the Philadelphia Auto Show and Big Brothers Big Sisters partnership to their loyal following Custom photo shoot Featured in Out of Home media: bus shelters and subway stops in close proximity to the Auto Show Q&A featured in custom content post on Phillymag.com (1) day appearance and event integration at the Philadelphia Auto Show

DIAGEO’S BULLEIT INFLUENCER INTEGRATION Influencer: Sabir Peele Followers: 62,800 Event: Rittenhouse Row Preview Party GOAL: Promote Diageo’s Cocktail Competition and sponsorship of the Rittenhouse Row Preview Party. SOLUTION: Philadelphia magazine partnered with Sabir Peele to promote the Rittenhouse Row Preview Party ultimately to increase ticket sales, attract his loyal, engaged audience and create awareness of the Bulleit cocktail competition. INFLUENCER ROLE: (1) Instagram takeover account (1) appearance at the Rittenhouse Row Preview Party as the host of the Bulleit Cocktail Competition Event stories posted account throughout the night (1) blog post on mensstylepro.com Q&A featured on Phillymag.com In-store Preview Post Likes: 714 Custom Content Post on Phillymag.com

VERIZON’S “DO PHILLY BETTER” INFLUENCER INTEGRATION Influencer: Caroline Ginolfi Followers: 53,000 Event: Be Well Philly Boot Camp GOAL: Attract consumers to Verizon’s new 15th and Market “smart store” location to interact with Verizon’s latest products and to enhance their 2018 campaign with a social/viral component. SOLUTION: Philadelphia magazine partnered with Verizon to execute “Do Philly Better” a year-round, events campaign that seamlessly aligned Verizon brand and store with Philadelphia magazine’s signature event and buzz-worthy publications. Each event seamlessly integrates a social influencer to align with the theme of the main event.
