Introduction This application enables web visitors to have a look at the development of the gross average monthly wages (in the Czech Republic) in time and make respective comparisons as for the progression of their wages (in their country). Mr. Average shows the differences between visitors‘ data and the average ones. It is further possible to display what quantity of a specified kind of goods it was possible to buy for the average wage or for the amount entered by the visitor.

How to monitor and calculate the prices?
What is the average wage in reality about? And the table of CZK exchange rates.

Now you can see the progression of the average monthly wage - the wage of ideal Mr. Average. How much/many of certain kind of goods or services could Mr. Average buy for a monthly wage? Have a look by clicking on the item in the "shopping list".

Now you know a lot about the shopping potentials of Mr. Average, but where is the promised interactivity? Enter your data to see more. Did you notice that Mr. Average is waving to you? He offers you help with an explanation of the graph. Click on him and learn more. When you point at a column, item or line of the graph using the mouse, the complete legend with a numerical value displays.

Fill in the simple form just using a nickname. Data for wages also do not have to be complete or accurate. There is no need to worry about security; entered data are not being stored. They are used only for the automatic display.

Now you can see the comparison of your wage with the average; but how much could Mr. Average buy and how much could you? The concrete data with a legend will be shown after pointing at the graph line by the mouse.

Here is the complete data overview of Mr. Average and you (depending on data you entered): - comparison of the wages - quantity of goods or services - as well as the development of the price of goods or services All that is for the whole period from 1985 to 2007. In the Czech version there is the possibility to choose the timeline either from 1960 or from 1985.

Data are stored in xml format Based on the Flash Player Fusion Chart v. 3.0 is used for displaying of graphs: Fusion Chart is possible to combine with relation database
