2. Purpose
The goal of this ministry is to gather and share information and analysis into who our youth are and what they’re dealing with so that we can meet their needs through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

“For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?”
God’s work requires forethought and planning, not a hope or wish that God will bless our mess.

Why was it important that the walls be rebuilt?
The people of Israel had fallen away from the faith while in exile.
They needed to return to the land to restore the Abrahamic covenant and renew their commitment to the lord.
The wall provided protection from Israel’s enemies.
Likewise, we must build a strong ministry so that we can protect our youth.

7. Who Are Our Youth?
Nehemiah took a step back to inspect the wall before rebuilding it.
“Millennials” are generally defined as being born between 1981 and 1996.
“Generation Z” is loosely defined as those born between 1996 and 2015.
Most research on youth today focuses on Millennials because they are now of age.

Many people look at the current trends and predict that the world will move beyond religion.
People have been dismissing Christianity for years.
However, our faith still remains and God is not dead!

13. How Can You Help This Ministry?
Our goal for 2018 is to conduct a CACNA survey to target our specific subset.
We need to strategize on how to conduct the survey, whether Survey Monkey or physical questionnaires.
We need a liaison at each branch to help us collect data about their youth.
We need assistance from people who may have a background in sociology or psychology so that we can develop effective surveys and analyze the results.
