How do you access your electronic notes anywhere?
Problem Statement How do you access your electronic notes anywhere?
3
What do we care about? New Generation Accessibility Automation
Existing technologies achieve a similar purpose for general file repository
4
Our Solution Notefied View notes anywhere using a browser
Capture notes on request Upload to the web automatically Backup to a centralized location Does not require a tablet to view Create a webpage that allows notes to be accessed remotely from any machine Allow notes to be automatically captured, organized, and published without user intervention Centralize the notes in a single repository with an organized structure Convert notes to a user-friendly format to improve accessibility for non-tablet users

User Scenario Richard Anderson is a tablet pc guru He wants to:
Takes notes frequently Stores his work on tablet He wants to: Access and manage his notes wherever he is Share his notes to others Quickly find the notes he needs Richard Anderson is a professor who has regular long meetings everyday. He always carries his tablet to his meetings for note taking convenience. Because of his overwhelmed meeting schedule, he has difficulty keeping track of his notes. So he decides to install the PubClient app that one of the teams in his capstone course implemented. After the initial setup, the notes that he takes are automatically captured, organized, and uploaded to his personal webpage. He no longer has the issue of forgetting to save his notes or mixing up unrelated notes. He is also able to share his notes with his assistant, Craig, who does not own a tablet. When he goes home after a long day of meetings, he is able to just go to his webpage and view all the notes that he took for that day and figure out what he needs to do based on them.

Risks Technical Risks: Other Risks:
Learning new facilities (C#, ASP.NET, SQL) Getting the basic infrastructure to run Obtaining a dedicated web server for testing Handling concurrency for multiple users Other Risks: Group friction – schedule conflicts Demand from other classes Illnesses How are we addressing each of these risks?
