This week we will have end of the 1st 9 weeks testing. Please review all uppercase/lowercase letters/sounds with your child. Also: Counting 1-40, recognizing 1-20, seasons, months, and days of the week.

Homework:
*Please start checking the homework section of your child’s pink folder each night.
*Your child will come home with a sheet of sentences and high frequency words that will be on the test. This will need to be signed each night that you studied with your child.
*Practice all letters and sounds nightly
*Practice sight words nightly
*Practice Recognizing numbers and counting to 20 nightly
Reminders:
*If you need to have a conference with me, please call and schedule a time!
*Please send in a Primary Writing Journal (K-2) for our morning writing work. These can be purchased at Walmart (blue cover).
*We have a reading assessment every Friday. Please make sure you check your child’s graded papers on Monday!
