Decimal Place The number of digits after the decimal is
said to be the decimal-place of that decimal. E.g- 3.5 1- decimal place. 0.28 2- decimal place. 6.100 3- decimal place. 24 0- decimal place.

Multiplication of a decimal by a
whole number x 3 . decimal-place = 2 x 3 decimal-place = + . 2 decimal-place = 2

by 10, 100, 1000, etc. x 10 . . x 10 = = 2 2
