Cubists rejected such subject as remote and often incomprehensible and insisted instead that art should deal with the real everyday world: natural or man-made and with a common, everyday human experience. Thus, the aim is to celebrate the simple pleasures and satisfactions of the everyday life and the ordinary daily environment of the artists and his audience.

3. Cubism began as an idea and then it became a style, based on Paul Cézanne's three main ingredients :-

4. There were two main types of Cubism
Analytical Cubism
artists would study or analyze the subject and break it up into different blocks.
the colors used are monochromatic black, grey and browns
then they would reconstruct the subject, painting the blocks from various viewpoints.
Synthetic Cubism
introduced the idea of adding in other materials in a collage.
artists would use colored paper, newspapers, and other materials to represent the different blocks of the subject.
this stage also introduced brighter colors and a lighter mood to the art.
