Figure 1 (A) Two pieces of frozen–thawed human ovarian cortex (5×5mm) transplanted under the skin of an oophorectomized mouse. After 2weeks, macroscopically visible revascularization was established. (B) Human ovarian cortex kept on ice for 20h prior to freezing. Thawed tissue was transplanted under the skin of an oophorectomized mouse for 4weeks.
