OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
increase the knowledge of key business concepts while learning English preparing students for a career in business and effective communication in international business environment pre-preparation for international business English exams such as BEC and BULATS BY THE END OF THE COURSE STUDENTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO: read and understand business-related texts and pieces of academic writing listen to and understand business conversations speak and discuss opinions fluently write different formats of business letters

STUDENTS’ OBLIGATIONS
LITERATURE – starting 9 October 2017 EVERY LECTURE i.e. PRACTICAL EXERCISE - BUSINESS ENGLISH COURSE BOOK – first 4 lessons (faculty library or in the bookstore e.g. Nova / online bookshop – NEW or SECOND HAND) -PRACTICE FILE & TEXTBANK – first 4 lessons (online or in the students’ bookshop) ATTENDANCE: in groups LECTURES: GROUP A & GROUP B GROUP A: Lucija Akmadžić – Luka Majer (starting 16 October) GROUP B: Mihaela Majstorović – Lucija Živković (starting 23 October) Total: 7 times – MUST: 5 times; those who come all 7 times will be given excellent for participation in lectures PRACTICAL EXERCISES: groups 1-5 (must come 70%-minimum) FINAL EXAM – last session in January ONLINE EXAM REGISTRATION OBLIGATORY!!!
