2 What is listening? Listening is the process of receiving, constructing meaning from and responding to spoken and nonverbal messages.

On the left page, compare listening to hearing. Complete the left page on the back of the left page assignment choice handout. You may use any left page assignment choice that you would like. Pay attention to the left page rubric found on the bottom of the rules to note taking handout. If you do not finish the left page in class, you need to finish for homework.
