4 A team based competition where teams compete in several challenges each week
As the weeks progress, the teams with the lowest amount of points will be voted on to be eliminated from the game one at a time until only 2 teams remain to battle it out! Gain points for your team each week by completing an individual score card. What is Endurance?

5 Individual Score Cards
Score cards must be completed, signed, and turned in by 7 PM each Wednesday. Write your team color on the score card. You must sign your score card as a testimony to its accuracy. Scores have an immediate impact on the standing of your team. Do whatever it takes to get your score card turned in on time! Individual Score Cards

6 Attendance Includes attendance at BBC services and activities
This assumes you are present when the service/activity begins and concludes Full credit available for attending church if out of town or watching the service online if sick Attendance

7 You can receive 100 points per service for sermon notes taken
Show them to a youth staff member and have them initial your score sheet If you are absent during a service because you are working in a ministry such as nursery, you may receive automatic credit for those sermon notes you missed. This is limited to once per week. Sermon Notes

8 Each week 4 memory verses are given for you to memorize and earn points
Verses must be said before 7pm Wednesday night from memory to a youth staff member (including reference) from the KJV. Again, reciting of verses will end promptly at 7:00 PM! Verses are worth 300 points apiece and must be said in the order listed on the back of the book. In order to receive credit for multiple verses, they must all be said in order at the same time. If you say all 4 verses, you will receive a bonus 300 points. Bible Memory

9 Passages may be quoted to any youth staff member at their convenience
Please be considerate of their time and be prepared, there are no “helps!” Some weeks will be designated as “verse test weeks.” On these weeks verses may not be said aloud but instead must be written out at the time given in the weekly Endurance meeting. If you are unable to make the meeting that week, contact Pastor Andrew to make other arrangements. Bible Memory

10 Each teen can earn a one-time bonus of 1,000 points by reciting the books of the Bible in order. If all members of your team complete this by September 19th, your team will receive a 5,000 point bonus! Bible Memory

11 You can receive points for visitors you bring with you to church/activities!
Every first time teen is eligible 1000 points for first visit 2000 for second 3000 for third 2000 point bonus if your guest comes to SS one of the first 3 visits A teen is considered a guest if they are local and never attended a Berean service/activity. Visitors

12 You can receive up to an additional 250 points for a variety of service projects
Service projects must be at least 45 minutes You may do 1 per week You cannot receive compensation Does not include church ministries Christian Service

13 You can receive points for simply spending time with God in personal devotions each day
At least 25 minutes of personal Bible reading/prayer time School Bible requirements do not count towards this 300 points per day, 400 point bonus if you do all 7 days! Devotions

15 Prizes and Awards Team The winning team of this year’s Endurance competition will enjoy an exclusive pizza party! In addition, the original members of the winning team will each receive a prize.

16 Prizes and Awards Individual
We are keeping track of individual scores in addition to teams. We will recognize and honor those who put in the time and effort to help their team on a week to week basis.

17 Prizes and Awards Individual
The Endurance Leadership Award will be awarded to the individual who goes above and beyond to help his team consistently. This will be based on his enthusiasm, direction, participation, performance, attitude, overall testimony and contribution to the team atmosphere.

18 We are going out of town and won’t be there on Wednesday
We are going out of town and won’t be there on Wednesday. Can I turn my score card in the following Wednesday? Yes! However, keep in mind scores immediately affect your team’s standing so make every effort to get it in on time. I left my sermon notes at home in my other Bible, but I really took them. Can I have at least partial credit? Sorry, but they must be present to count. FAQs

The goal for mission trip this year: 25,700 points-that’s averaging… 5 days of devotions per week Attendance at 3 services /activities per week Taking notes in one service per week Saying 2 verses per week Doing 2 service projects during the 9 weeks of Endurance Saying your books of the Bible Mission Trip Qualification
