Marie was born in Warsaw (Poland), on November 7th , She was a Polish scientist but of French nationality.

In 1891, she moved to Paris with her older sister.

4. PIERRE AND HER FAMILY
In 1894 she met Pierre Curie, who later became her husband.

5. DISCOVERED
Marie Curie was interested in the recent discoveries of the new types of radiation.

6. LAST YEARS
In 1911, Marie was involved in a scandal when she started a relationship with Paul Langevin, who was already married.
