2. What is Jurisprudence?
The study of law extends beyond the mere examination of rules and their application to society.
The consideration of values, concepts, social, political and economic factors underlying the law itself demands a deeper form of legal study
Jurisprudence is described as the science or philosophy of law that deals with both applying legal doctrine and investigating the concepts, notions, and principles of legal thought.
Jurisprudence may be thought as a legal matrix that comprises many interlocking concepts, theories, principles and institutions.

4. Jurisprudence
It can motivate us to consider whether the law is arbitrary, coherent, just, a tool of the powerful or the servant of the common good.
Our respect for the law comes from the sense and meaning we attach to the rules and principles it encompasses
