3. Vault Contractor
Vault Contractor allows you to build a hierarchy of Risk Assessment questionnaires to be used in the prequalification of Contractors & Subcontractors

4. Vault Contractor
Vault contractor has a series of 'Pre built' industry standard questions within its register.
To find them simply click on the Profile icon in the top menu bar and choose settings.

From the resulting settings table select Questions.

All existing questions are displayed in their Categories and with their current Statuses.

7. Vault Contractor - General Questions
'Pre built' questions are designated as General thus distinguishing them from any Custom questions already created.

8. Vault Contractor - View/Edit Questions
From the Question Register you can View or Preview any General question and View, Edit, Preview, Clone or Remove any existing Custom question.

Note: Removing a question does not delete it completely just simply makes it inactive ensuring any associated historical data - is maintained for audit or reporting purposes.

10. Vault Contractor - New Questions
Building a new question can be actioned via two different methods:
Clone and Add - 'Clone' will copy a question and its format ready for you to edit & Publish.
'Add' creates a new question from scratch.

Click Add and Complete the resulting Question details block.

12. Vault Contractor - Question Details: Title
The Title is a General question topic, it is a short way to identify the question being asked.

13. Vault Contractor - Question Details: Category
Allocating/Creating a category allows you to place questions into any 'groupings' that you require, if a category already exists it will display via a smart search drop down making it easy to allocate.
If the Category is 'new' simply input as free text.

14. Vault Contractor - Question Details: Save
Click Save to create a Draft Question within your question register ready to be formatted.
It also saves any 'new category' entered.
The Question/Instructions block is added to your Question.

15. Vault Contractor - Question/Instructions
The Question/Instructions block allows you to format what question is asked and how the question is answered.
Simply enter/select the appropriate option or options for this particular question.

16. Vault Contractor - Question/Instructions
For the stated example:
Stipulate the actual question being asked. Then select Yes/No as the first answer type.
Tick the Checkbox marked mandatory.
Important Note: the 'Mandatory' Checkbox makes answering this part of question 'mandatory' in any Questionnaire in which it is used.
Click Add to update the question format.

17. Vault Contractor - Question/Instructions
Next Include a written instruction to attach documentation if the answer is 'Yes'.
Then select the Attach file answer type, to allow the addition of documentation
Do not tick the mandatory Checkbox Because if the answer to the question is 'No' there would be nothing to attach.
Click Add to update the question format.

18. Vault Contractor - Preview Question
Once you have formatted What is being asked and How the question is answered
Preview the question to ensure that its content and look’n’feel is correct.
'Preview'

19. Vault Contractor - Final Question Edit
If changes are required you can change the format order via click and drag.
You can also Edit or Remove the question type.
Once you have completed building your question - it’s ready to be Published so that it can be used in questionnaire.

20. Vault Contractor - Publish Question
Select Publish and the question will be listed in your Companies Question register.
'Confirm Publish'

21. Vault Contractor - Question Completed
Your question is now completed and ready to be used as part of a Prequalification Questionnaire.
Simply repeat this process until all your companies custom questions have been created.
