2. Before Jesus’ Ministry …
Human Nature was & is GOOD!
But … we all inherited Original Sin
Relationships with God & Others are Damaged
Human Dignity under attack (our worst tendencies)
Did you realize? Man is the only creature that can choose to act against his Nature. [IMAGINE: God looking down at all creatures, all humanity & me. PRAY]
Even the Pharisees & Sadducees are corrupt (Tobit)
We can’t solve this, we need a Savior!

3. Jesus comes and restores …
Restored our relationship with God …
He Came, in particular, for the sick … Mark 2:17 “ And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.“
He healed and restored our Human Dignity … Luke 8:35 “The people went out to see what had happened; and they came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting down at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind; and they became frightened.”
His Life’s Ministry, Death, and Resurrection healed the wounds of Original Sin

4. He showed us a new way to live …
Everyone he healed had a different story
He met them where they were
He did not reject or condemn any person
Judged their sin and taught them the truth
Called them to repent & rise to new Dignity
We have a standard & we can find it …

5. What now? Decide TODAY that it matters. Jesus Matters!
Go and seek the Truth always! True Nature!
Apostles Creed & Commandments
Study the Ministry of Christ in 4 Gospels
Regular Mass attendance & Sacraments
Integrity : Seen & Unseen = Same
Nurture & Protect all Human Dignity / Integrity
Individual (Reject Sin, Virtues, Beatitude, Serve)
In Groups (Church, Family, School, Sports, etc.)
Nation (Just Laws, Protect Weak, Pro-Life, Justice )

7. CCC 1811 It is not easy for man, wounded by sin, to maintain moral balance. Christ's gift of salvation offers us the grace necessary to persevere in the pursuit of the virtues. Everyone should always ask for this grace of light and strength, frequent the sacraments, cooperate with the Holy Spirit, and follow his calls to love what is good and shun evil. “STRIVE”

9. Send off! Small Group Focus …
Discuss idea of sitting above world next to God
Human Dignity: Discuss our youth’s biggest temptations in this culture. (i.e. Using others for our own gain lust, pornography, Human Trafficking,etc …)
Affirm their/our Goodness from God
How can they protect their & other’s Dignity?
