As a warm up task, choose any person, place or thing and come up with as many rhyming words as possible for it.

4. Notes Nouns: A person, place or thing. It is a name or identity.
Repetition: Doing something many times for a powerful effect.
Vowel: The sound of A,E, I, O and U.
Consonant: A non-vowal sound

Remove the first letter – “ord”
Add in letters until something familiar comes up.

To read and create a different form of list poetry, an alliteration list poem.

15. In exercise copy, write down:
A noun, a verb and an adjective all starting with the same letter. Do this for four letters.

Alliteration: The repetition of a consonant at the beginning of neighbouring words.
Consonance: The repetition of consonants in words.
Assonance: The repetition of vowels in words.

Does not have to rhyme – alliteration is more important

20. Exercise One
Create an alliteration poem called ‘What I see’ where you list off things you see.
You can only use each letter once for alliteration. Bonus points to whomever can get 26 lines finished.
