4. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 (NKJV) 23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

7. Today, many are saying that “ONLY GOD” knew!
The Love of God has been so Great.
Jesus came and died for our sins, because He knew that there was nothing that you and I could do to save our sinful lives.
But, the question that I would like ask this morning is:
Did Jesus really know that He would die on the Cross for the sins of mankind?
Today, many are teaching that Jesus didn’t even know that He was about to die, because He did not have the power to see into the future.
Today, many are saying that “ONLY GOD” knew!

8. John 19:  Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, "Behold your King!" 15  But they cried out, "Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!" Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar!" 16  Then he delivered Him to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus and led Him away. 17  And He, bearing His cross, went out to a place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha, 18  where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on either side, and Jesus in the center. 19  Now Pilate wrote a title and put it on the cross. And the writing was: JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

10. Really, Did Jesus Know That He Would Die?
When He had the cross laid on His shoulder? (John 19:17)
When He heard the multitudes crying out, “Crucify Him”? (Luke 23:18-23)
When He was delivered to Roman scourging? (Matt. 27:26-31)
When He was subjected to a kangaroo court? (Matt. 26:59, 66; 27:1)
When He was betrayed and arrested? (John 18:1-12)
When He instituted the Lord’s Supper? (Matt. 26:26-28)
When He signified the manner of His death just days before? (Jn. 12:32-33)
When He repeatedly predicted His death? (Mt. 16:21; 17:22-23; 20:18-19)
When He spoke with Moses & Elijah about His departure? (Luke 9:30-31)
When He spoke to Nicodemus about being “lifted up”? (John 3:14)
Before He ever left heaven? (Psa. 22; Isa. 53)
Before He ever created man? (1 Pet. 1:18-21; Rev. 13:8)
Really, Did Jesus Know That He Would Die?

11. What Motivated Jesus To Be Nailed To The Cross?
There was nothing more important to Him!
It was His #1 priority!
He was motivated by agape love for you!
1 John 3:16; Eph. 5:2; Gal. 2:20
His love was/is unconditional, unselfish, wanting the very best for mankind!
He was motivated by His eternal longing for you to be saved and go to heaven!
Isa. 53; Matt. 1:21; 1 Tim. 2:4; John 14:1-6

12. SINCE Jesus Loves You So Much that He was Even Nailed To a Cross For You…
Have you responded? How have you responded?
What impact has His crucifixion had on you? Does it still? Or have you “gotten used to it”?
What are you willing and longing to DO for Him? ENDURE for Him? SAY for Him?
Where are your priorities today?
How deep is your love for Him? How is that being expressed in your daily life?

13. SINCE Jesus Loves You So Much That He was Even Nailed To a Cross For You…
Do you believe He is God’s Son? (John 20:30-31)
Are you ready to repent of your sins? (Acts 17:30)
Are you ready to confess your faith in Him? (Romans 10:9)
Are you ready to be immersed into Christ? (Romans 6:3)
So that He will wash away every one of your sins (Acts 22:16)
So that He will add you to His church (Acts 2:47)
So that He will enroll you in heaven’s registry (Heb 12:23)
Are you faithfully serving Him? (1 Corinthians 15:58)
