2 History Formed in 1979 with 89 members; officially incorporated in 1982 Bilingual – communications, publications, website (we are talking about exchanging bulletins with other IRPA associate societies)

Many are retiring Students and Young Professionals Only a few institutions provide education in Radiation Protection Their concerns and expectations Student paper contest at annual conference Michèle Légaré to discuss more

6 Membership Opportunities
Nuclear fuel sectors Majority of members from uranium mining and nuclear power generation left the association some years ago; we are working to bring them back Your advice is highly appreciated Non-ionizing radiation We need to do more to recruit members in this growing area
