2. RAO FINANCIAL REPORTING – QUARTER 4 2016/17
Summary:
The 3 RAO teams’ dedication has resulted in excellent performance for the University.
Q4 cost statement submissions were 167, the highest number achieved in 3 years.
Outstanding Cost statements over 2 months old have decreased to 20, meeting the new target of <20 for the quarter.
528 Cost statements were submitted in the year. 291 of these were submitted in H2 as staffing pressures eased in the RAO.

3. Accounts on Agresso Summary:
The number of accounts on Agresso has fallen by 158 in the Quarter.
235 accounts were closed in Q4, this over 3 times the long term average of 91 closures per quarter.
‘Non Budget’ accounts have fallen slightly to 712 in September ‘17.

4. Business Partnering
Business Partnering continued in Q4 at a slower pace than anticipated due to staff vacancies in the RAO unit. All of the Top 40 PI’s have been targeted to receive Business Partnering in 2017/18 as the RAO begin the year with a full complement of staff.
