Neighbourhood East: Armenia: New Partnership Priorities (PP) adopted. Single support framework under preparation Azerbaijan: New PP underway (adoption scheduled in April) and negotiations for a new agreement Belarus: Positive developments the long-term goal is an agreement, negotiations are taking place

Georgia: AA incl. DCFTA in force, updated association agenda adopted Moldova: AA incl. DCFTA in force since 2016, IMF program signed; Revision of the association agenda, new priorities. Ukraine: AA incl. DCFTA since 2016 under implementation (ratification procedure not finalised in NL).

Country overview Neighbourhood South:
Jordan & Lebanon: Partnership priorities and international compacts were agreed in 2016: Framework for co-operation established Israel & Palestine: PP under discussion, two state solution endorsed by EU Tunisia: Joint communication on strengthening bilateral relations adopted in AA in force since Stabilisation of democracy and economic development high on the agenda of the EU.

Algeria: New PP adopted on 13 March. Egypt: New PP negotiated and to be adopted pending resolution of political issue on CSOs. Morocco: Implementation of AA continues. Libya & Syria: Focus on stabilisation and support to refugees in the context of the Madad Fund for Syria, and the Central Med Migratory route with representatives of Libyan government

Union for the Mediterranean: Intergovernmental (EU is member): Platform for regional co-operation in EN South, roadmap endorsed by ministers in Jan 2017 Eastern Partnership: Initiative of the EU: Priorities established by Riga summit in 2015: Economic development and market opportunities, strengthening institutions and good governance, connectivity and energy efficiency, climate change, mobility and people 2 people contacts League of Arab states: EU not member but co-operation on organised crime and migration
