Objective: describe the influence the oriental cultures in history have had on floral design.
Procedures:

Students take notes over “Oriental Influence”
Pick a design discuss in the notes, draw and color a picture that represents that drawing. Write an explanation of why your drawing represents that type of design.

Bellwork: Draw a picture of an Ikebana design, label the 3 lines (in English and Japanese).
Objective: describe the influence the classical cultures in history have had on floral design.
Procedures:

Students take notes over “Classical Influence”
Pick a classical time period discuss in the notes, create a meme to represent their floral designs. – this can be hand drawn or created on your phone and sent to

Bellwork: What is the difference between a modern day cornucopia and a Greek cornucopia?
