2 Currently Chemical use practices and the documentation of the practices is highly variable Standard wording often too confining for diverse experimentation on campus. Template available but limited guidance for writing an SOP/ Protocol/ Process. Challenges over naming and where to house documents Templates not easily searchable.

3 Our Goals Create Repository
Update template and process that will be incorporated into Chemical Hygiene Plan and Lab Hazard Assessment Ways to improve search/review/writing/implementation process for creating useful protocols.

4 Next Steps Gather mechanisms necessary (i.e. Pilot, template, key words, process) BE Reps weigh in: Pilot program over next few months Finalize changes to template Create Process within EHS for review and entry into repository Initial oversight could be on voluntary basis Implementation Template up on the EHS website Repository site along with finalized process within EHS
