2. Benefits of reviewing the Notice of Arrest:
Check the accuracy of submitted arrest information
Verify a person’s identity based on fingerprint comparison
Locate outstanding warrants or protection orders the individual may have

3. When a law enforcement agency submits a criminal arrest fingerprint card to the Washington State Patrol (WSP) the contributing agency is furnished with the individuals assigned state identification number (SID) after fingerprint identification of the individual

4. Also, a wants and warrants check is performed to locate any warrants, protection orders and other records from the Washington Crime Information Center (WACIC) files
The notice of arrest may be furnished by or telecommunications system (ACCESS)
