Who was Martin Luther? Martin Luther was a German Theolagain whose writing inspired prostant reformation.

What did Martin Luther do?
Luther had come to believe that Christians are put into heaven by faith not by money or efforts. In he wrote a series of books about Christian Liberty,freedom of a Christian man,Christian nobility and Babylonian of the church. Thanks to him and his '95 theses' and his other writings,it quickly spread through Europe and then the world!

How did the Catholic Church try and stop Martin Luther?
In 1521, the Pope Leo x excommunicated Luther. He was then come to appear at the diet of worms,an assembly of the Holy Roman Empire. He refused to stop believing and Emperor Charles v declared him an outlaw and heretic. Luther went into hiding at wartberg Castle Germany. In 1522, he returned to Wittenberg.
