Expository methods are used for informative and explanatory purposes. During the use of which the leaner takes a subordinate role and not a dominant role

The inductive methods place the leaner in an active and dominant role. They emphasize : 1- problem identification 2- hypothesis making 3- information gathering 4- testing of hypothesis The purpose of these methods is to let the leaner practice self-directed learning, responsibility and acquires the skills for solving problem on their own.

Interactive methods emphasis two things : 1- Techniques for exchanging information, ideas and opinions among people. 2- Communication and develop skills of cooperative work among the group members.
