BREAKING NEWS! Date: 15th June 1215 Location: Runnymede, Windsor
Information: The barons have rebelled against King John and forced him to sign the “Magna Carta”. This is a contract that says what Kings and Queens can and cannot do; the king can no longer interfere with the church, collect new taxes without the consent of the barons, or imprison someone without a trial.
