2. Hebrews 1:1-2
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

3. Part One: Engaged Where You Are

4. Jesus engaged people where they were

5. Jesus engaged people at their points of understanding and needs.

6. He engaged them where they were to take them where they were not.

7. Jesus wants to engage you where you are to take you where you are not.

8. Part Two: Engaged Where You Are NOT

9. God systematically engages people where they are to take them where they are not… to where they can be.

10. God engages people where they are to take them where they should be.
Moses – There is only 1 God.
Amos- God is a just God.
Hosea – God is a forgiving, restoring God
You need to be engaged in the Word on a daily basis to know Him.

11. There is more than you know - God is engaging you where you are, to take you where you should be.

12. There is so much more God has for you.
Are you willing to be engaged where you are?
Are you willing to be engaged where you are not?
Are you willing to be engaged in the present to move into the future?

In a culture of disengagement, YOU need to be engaged more than ever before.

16. Where You Can Be… Jeremiah 29:11
“ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

17. When you are not getting anywhere…
Bicycle with chain off.
Disengaged you aren’t going anywhere no matter how much effort you put in.

18. If the engagement chain keeps coming off it is because you are out of alignment.

19. You Need to be in Alignment
1. You need relational engagement in the body of Christ- Acts 2:42,
2. You need Spiritual engagement daily in the Word. I Peter 2:2, II Tim. 2:15.
3. You need practical engagement with your gifts. I Cor. 12.

20. The CHOICE to be engaged…
Jesus wants to engage you where you are.
Jesus wants to engage you where you are to take you where you are not.
God wants you Engaging in the Present so you can Move into the Future.
