Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) Resources directly linked to supporting students Include a variety of funding sources to increase understanding of how resources support our targeted students Federal Title funds Grant funds, Other Board of Education: Local Control and Accountability Plan LCFF Supplemental Funding Unrestricted money Use for additional services for English learners, homeless, foster youth and low income students Exclude many operational costs (e.g., utilities, liability insurance, maintenance) Exclude some specialized funds (e.g., Special Education, Early Childhood Education) LCFF Base Funding Unrestricted money Use for providing a basic education for all students including elementary class size reduction and career technical education in high school
