Make sure your dates match the collection.

Only the Collection is automated, not the Send to CDE
Only the Collection is automated, not the Send to CDE. That is AU control.

How to check the Daily Processes Log
10
To check the 9 errors, click “Validation Report”
Gives you a break down and the details of the 9 errors. Click a number to get to the student’s IEP (student who is receiving this error) when you click “4” You’ll see a screen like the next slide.
11
The LINK takes you directly to the View History Screen
Students’ Names The LINK takes you directly to the View History Screen Click the student’s name to go to his/her IEP
12
Edit tells you the record was previously edited
13
Override
14
When to use Override? Advantage Disadvantage
You only make the change once. Disadvantage The changes are made student by student If there are additional actions in the IEP or IC, data will not be updated. I use it for Child Find, Private Schools and Programs I don’t use it for Facilities (OOD). We keep a separate spreadsheet for Facilities I add them to the pipeline after all other errors are corrected. It makes it easier to correct just those errors.
15
Finding the Edited Files
16
There is no Search Option
I usually sort by SASID At the bottom of each page, select the page number you think the ID# might be on. It only displays 15 pages at a time. We need search capability on this page.
17
Fix the Errors: Goal is Clean Data
Administrative Edit for minor, non-printing errors Amendment, parents are notified and consent is granted for the change. Temporary Fixes: Fix it in the Edit file, with an Amendment to be held later Fix it in the flat file only
18
After All Errors are Corrected
Recollect the data Resubmit the data to CDE If you are still error free, go to the Data Pipeline
19
