3 ENR Texas & Louisiana’s 2018 Best Projects
Engineering News- Record Sundt honored on July 31, 2018 121 entries, 42 projects, 18 categories Landscape – Best Project Engineering News-Record provides the engineering and construction news, analysis, commentary and data that construction industry professionals need to do their jobs more effectively. ENR reports on the top design firms, both architects and engineers, and the top construction companies as well as projects in the United States and around the world. Out of 121 entries submitted to ENR Texas & Louisiana's 2018 Best Projects competition, the team of judges selected 42 projects across 18 categories as the region’s best. SanPedroCreekCulturePark won in the Landscape category! Huge congrats to our construction & design teams that continue to make this project a national gem! And herea photo of San Pedro Creek was selected for ENR Tx/La Snapshot and it will appear in this month’s magazine.

4 TxA Citation of Honor Award
Texas Society of Architects AIA San Antonio Nomination Official announcement at 12pm The Texas Society of Architects conducts an annual Honor Awards program recognizing exceptional members, firms, individuals, and organizations for their outstanding achievements in support of the profession of architecture, the built environment, and quality of life in Texas. The Citation of Honor Award is for groups, organizations, or individuals outside the profession whose activities make significant contributions to the goals of the architectural profession for improvement of the natural or built environment in Texas. The San Antonio chapter of the American Institute of Architects nominated San Pedro Creek Culture Park for this award and we won. The official announcement will be out later today at 12pm. It’s pretty amazing because the last 5 years, this award has been given to projects in Dallas so it’s great for us to know that San Pedro Creek Culture park is competing with large market projects like those in Dallas.
