creating better synergies both with national bodies and at the EU-level external contractor TIPIK - a study to explore and analyse the current landscape and make recommendations for future strategies the report was discussed at a workshop with the social security coordination (SSC) communication network in 2012 the ongoing contract improve the information on national social security systems which is provided to mobile Europeans at EU-level better accessibility of this information
3
How? 3 phases assess user needs develop a new template
launch a pilot project
4
What has been done already?
Phase 1: assess user needs gather feedback about the existing product (e.g. social security guide) gather general information about mobile Europeans' needs when approaching the social security system of a new country learn about the actual experience and “journey” of the participants in the social security system of their new country
5
What has been done already?
Phase 2: develop a new template designed to respond better to the needs of mobile Europeans the template should take into account the following elements: User needs The type of content (practical vs. descriptive) Fields of social security to be covered Layout and presentation of the text flexible format for web pages and PDF/eBooks and future cooperation with EURES/YOUR EUROPE (e.g. an xml format)
