Think Big is a programme aimed at young people aged who want to make positive changes in their community.  If they’ve got a great project idea, they will help.
Think Big aims to harness the incredible talents of young people to bring people together in their communities.  We want to help young people make the most of their potential, and inspire others.  To change the way young people think about themselves and their communities.  And change the way people think about them.

12. Salford GRT Research Action Project
As a result of pushing the agenda, we are currently carrying out a GRT research action project in Salford-
Aims of the Project
Raise profile and awareness of needs of GRT families at a strategic level (CYPT) and with other strategic groups
Increase accountability of service providers in regards to meeting the needs of GRT children and families
Use the evaluation from the GRT Action Research project to influence the CYPT’s future priorities.

Question approach of services, are they reaching these communities, are they adaptable enough?

14. Threats and Potential Outcomes for GRT children
Gypsy Roma Traveller children will “fall through the net”

Services are not being “proactive” enough in addressing the challenges which arise when supporting GRT children and families
Provision which is not appropriate/adaptable enough to meet the needs of GRT children and families
