All “regions” need secure service strategies NW Secure Partnership/Catchment Group leads the development of the North West strategy 2 rounds of stakeholder events Autumn 2005 and Spring 2006 Strategy now complete and being issued Looks It has two components Strategy Action Plan – annual review Next step – workplan for secure commissioning system and monitoring progress by Catchment Group Specialised Services Commissioning Team Incorporating Secure Mental Health Cheshire & Merseyside

8 Action Plan Identifies areas for action to implement strategic plan
Issues in strategy should all be addressed in the action plan Forms Workplan for Catchment Group and commissioners Links to local work and action Collaborative effort needed to deliver the strategy

Strategy is now finalised Implementation to be overseen by Catchment Group Continue with regular stakeholder events Formal annual review of the action plan Revised action plan to be produced each year Next review of strategy 2010/11 Specialised Services Commissioning Team Incorporating Secure Mental Health Cheshire & Merseyside
