Photo task #1: The rose Rose:

Photo task #1 The rose demonstrates the interconnectedness of the four spheres because the flower is connected with lithosphere: soil and rocks on earth; because the plant takes in nutrition from soil with the process of photosynthesis. It’s also connected to hydrosphere: all water on earth; because the plant need to hydrate to survive all the heat from the sun. It’s also connected to the atmosphere: all air and gases on earth; because without the carbon the atmosphere provides to plants it would not grow from lack of nutrition the carbon from the atmosphere provides. And lastly, it’s connected to biosphere: all living things on earth because the rose is a living thing on earth. Lithosphere: solid earth; soil, rocks, sediment Hydrosphere: all water on earth; rivers, lakes Atmosphere: all air and gases on earth Biosphere: all life on earth; humans, plants

Photo task #2: Wild lily of the valley

Photo task #2 The wild lily of the valley grows throughout rain forests and in same places that you find ferns. It was believed that the plant would heal your cuts and sore throats and lastly headaches. They grow in groups never alone. They usually grow around the months May-June. It’s grown in a habitat that’s moist, rich, and dry. Often in sandy woods and clearings. The aboriginals picked the flower while still green and stored it in water. Children would eat them ripe but they were not good. When cooked they’d be dried in the sun then cleaned and after3 boiled in a basket for a few minutes. Then they’d mix them with other berries, scalded for a few minutes and finally ate them with lots of grease and sugar. The wild lily of the valley demonstrates the interconnectedness of the four spheres because it need the hydrosphere: all water on earth to stay hydrated and not die from dehydration, also need the atmosphere: all air on earth to take in nutrition from carbon through the process of photosynthesis. Also needs lithosphere: soil on earth to take in other nutrition it needs to survive and create food for other organisms through the process of photosynthesis and cellular respiration.

Photo task #3 Hi, my name is Cim! With a C. I’m a carbon atom, my journey starts in the atmosphere. Which is all the air and gases on our planet. EARTH!!(ATMOSPHERE-PLANTS)once I found land I find a plant through the process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis takes carbon dioxide that we breathe and creates food to make sugar and oxygen for living organisms. After this process I go right through the process of cellular respiration and I find my ay getting eaten by a frog!(PLANTS-ANIMALS) I stayed in this living organism for 10 years! Avery long time. But soon after the animal decomposed in soil near a river with the help of bacteria in that soil.(ANIMSL-SOIL)After a day or two I was washed away into the river which lead right into the ocean.(SOIL-WATER)Which is when I got eaten by an organism in the sea which shortly died after which had me ended up in the deep ocean decomposing.(MARINE LIFE-DEEP OCEAN)Once the circulation of the deep sea lead me to the top level to the sea I started going through the process of diffusion and gas exchange leading me to the atmosphere ending my journey

Photo task #4 Instead of driving to school I will walk to decrease the amount of greenhouse gas spreading into our atmosphere. This will help us have cleaner air and decreasing the chance of having global warming Instead of leaving the tap on while brushing my teeth I would turn it off to stop wasting filtered water. This will help everyone have more water instead have having no water.

Continuing photo task #4
Instead of travelling by car I would travel by car or not at all. This will help because the less greenhouse gases airplanes produce will help us have cleaner air and help all the living organisms in the sea maintain alive because of the less chance of global warming.
